Success by Gladwell

I'm just finished reading the book "Beyond the Scheme" by Malcolm Gladwell. I still have the impression that the author writes too much and it has to forward could easily fit on a 60 instead of 260-five pages ... Nevertheless, I recommend the book:)

Gladwell shows how the intetresujÄ…cy what affects success. Using powerful examples of people who have achieved success describes the factors which we had not spotted, or did not want to miss. The book talks about success in a completely different way than the book of the genre of American "motivational literature."

According to the author too often quote success stories from people in a very simplified way. Beforewe set them too shallow, going "from fact to fact, not taking into account any other factors that are important in relation to history. Through this, they are ignored, it creates for us too idealized (or distorted) image of "a man of success." We are ready to accept him as a very capable, talented, endowed by the nature of innate genius.

Meanwhile, the matter is not so simple. For example, the answer to why it was just Bill Gates success is complex. It turns out that one reason for this success is the "gift of fate" in the form of a computer terminal, purchased by the school. This acquisition was particularly remarkable that all this has happened in the 60's. Luckys luck would have it, Gates went on just such a school where it was decided to purchase the equipment, which can not easily be found even in universities. Thanks to a young Bill had the opportunity to create and develop your programming skills. Front of the terminal gates spent most of his time. Were it not for this little event, today it would not be Microsoft's ... nothing would change neither the wit nor the intelligence Gates.

There are many such small, but very very important details that affect the ultimate success. Among them are relevant, for example, date (both the year and what month) and the place of our birth, parents' occupation, the way we were raised, and above allpeople who, for what came across in a lifetime. There are also a lot of "coincidences" like this machine in the history of Gates.

I have several requests from reading, but one of them is the most important - if przesadzimy of simplifying the image of the world, it will be harder for us to understand it, it will be harder to draw a good education, and ultimately it will be harder to become better yourself.

The success consists of many factors and many of them can be described as a "coincidence". The whole trick is to notice them and be able to use properly:)
